WorldConnex, Connexall’s learning, networking and customer celebration event, is a tremendous opportunity for both customers AND employees.
About 35 Connexall employees from the U.S., Canada and the islands of the Azores, will be attending WorldConnex2024 in Boca Raton, Florida, October 20-24, to host our valued customers and healthcare industry leaders.
For many, this will be their first opportunity to meet fellow colleagues along with the customers they support every day. We interviewed three employees to learn what they are most excited about this year’s WorldConnex.
Andrea Oser, Director of Sales, Prospect, Kentucky
Andrea joined Connexall in May as Director of Sales for the south region, spanning Texas, the Carolinas and Florida. “I am building out the south region to include five sales executives,” she said.
As her first WorldConnex event, Andrea sees it as “a way to share best practices, expand upon the relationships that exist, and create new ones. I’m excited to meet my team in person along with the new Connexall family I’ve become a part of.”
Andrea also looks forward to the learning opportunities. “In addition to developing relationships both internally and externally, I’m excited to learn more about who we are and what we do every day, and what the future holds. It’s a way for me to really have a lot more knowledge when I walk away.”
Miguel Roque, Finance Maintenance Specialist, Portugal
Miguel has been with Connexall for nine years and helped host a WorldConnex event held in the Azores, the islands of Portugal. Connexall employs a percentage of its workforce in the Azores, where its founder David Tavares was born.
In Miguel’s Finance Maintenance Specialist role, “I am the bridge between finance, tech support and the customer success team,” he explained. “I manage customers’ maintenance and support services.”
Miguel sees WorldConnex as “a great chance to gain fresh perspectives and celebrate what we do with our customers. It’s a dynamic event filled with insightful sessions. It brings innovative ideas, and it’s a fantastic opportunity to network with colleagues and industry leaders.”
Miguel shared a standout WorldConnex memory: “I remember when one of our Portuguese customers did a presentation for his peers. It was really important to him because he always wanted to make an impact here.” Clearly, he succeeded.
Kimber Darby, Relationship Manager, San Diego, California
This will also be the first WorldConnex for Kimber, who joined Connexall in December of 2023 as our first Relationship Manager. She also serves as Secretary on the board of the Customer Healthcare Leadership Council (CHLC), made up of veteran healthcare industry executives.
Kimber supports client relationships along with strategic partnerships and relationships. “My job is to meet a lot of people within the industry and help them connect with each other. I facilitate relationships between clients and Connexall at a genuine level.”
She’s excited to attend her first WorldConnex. “It’s like a mindshare,” she said. “What’s going on in healthcare right now? What are the new innovations? How can we help facilitate change and make healthcare better with our technology? It’s all about making a difference in people’s lives.”
As a natural people connector, WorldConnex is the perfect event for Kimber. “I’m really excited to meet with people face to face and get to know them at a personal level.” The best thing about being at a beautiful resort property? “People can really be themselves and get to the heart of the matter and why we’re all here: to improve healthcare. It’s all about coming together for the betterment of people’s lives.”
It is clear that WorldConnex is so much more than just an event.
It’s a gathering of hearts and minds united by a shared purpose. Whether it’s Andrea looking forward to building relationships, Miguel celebrating moments of connection, or Kimber embracing the opportunity to facilitate meaningful change, each of them reminds us that at the core of Connexall is a deep commitment to our people, our customers, and the future of healthcare.
